Financing Your Treatment
Cost
We work hard to make orthodontics affordable by offering flexibility with your payment options. The cost of treatment is determined on individual basis and varies primarily on the severity of the individual orthodontic problem, the treatment time estimate to correct the problem, and your preference on the type of braces to use. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins.
Affordable Payment Plans
We have payment plans to suit different budgets, including interest free payment plans. For your convenience we accept most major credit cards, debit cards and flex spending accounts. We also work with several financial institutes which offer extended payment plans including:
Insurance
Our office staff is always available to help you with your insurance benefits, if you have insurance that will be covering any portion of your orthodontic treatment. We accept most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We are committed to assisting you in receiving the full benefits which you are entitled to from you insurance plan. The following information should help you in your understanding of this sometimes confusing area.
Orthodontic dental coverage is not automatic with all dental insurance programs. Please check your policy to confirm orthodontics is a covered benefit. Please check for a “waiting period” on orthodontic coverage if your policy has been in effect for less than 2 years.
We accept most major orthodontic dental benefits. Please have your insurance information available at the time you schedule your initial consultation with our office. We will confirm your benefits for you prior to your first visit and will know how we can help you receive those benefits most effectively before you come in.
Insurance companies do not prepay orthodontic benefits but rather pay them equally over the course of treatment. If for any reason, you lose your benefits while in treatment, there is no guarantee the insurance company will pay the full pre-authorized benefit. It will become your responsibility to pay the remaining balance. We will be happy to rearrange your payment schedule to include the unexpected loss of benefits.
Orthodontic benefits are legally yours and if the insurance company makes a determination you are in disagreement with, we are legally unable to make demands or negotiate any settlement for you. It will be your responsibility to settle disputes concerning your policy.
